Porto Santo Golf

“São poucos os campos de golfe à beira-mar, na Europa, tão espetaculares assim.”
in dailymail.co.uk

The golf course in Porto Santo crosses the island from the dunes to the rocks thus offering a challenging game. The plan was carried out so that the course blends naturally with the landscape having been a great care to minimize the impact on the environment. There are 18 holes spread over 6434 meters, thus forming a Par 72 characterized by two distinct areas: the southern route and the Northern route. The first has a traditional American format with several lakes that require a long and precise game. On the other hand the second is mostly upon cliffs.
There is also a 9-hole course, entirely Par 3 “pitch-and-putt” perfect to train aiming and strokes, and a driving range.
