If, in principle, the ecological issue should be a natural concern on the part of tourist developments, in Porto Santo, a fragile island, which we can enjoy, but we have the obligation not to spoil, the issue is even more relevant.
Vila Baleira Resort is proud to use solar panels to their full capacity. In total, the Resort has 1,112 photovoltaic panels with an average monthly production of 25,800 KW and 135 solar thermal panels to heat the water. We hope that in the future, with technological advances, we will be self-sufficient depending only on this type of energy.
In addition to the environmental concern that we share with our guests through the used towel program that you can consult in the rooms, we make sure to participate in the separation of waste and recycling and in the cleaning of the beach, where we also offer portable ashtrays for smokers.
Vila Baleira Resort, aware of the importance of the ecological footprint and economy of Porto Santo, has partnered with local farmers so that traditionally grown vegetables and fruits have a place on your table during your stay.
