The Resort has at your disposal 312 spacious rooms with balcony, 56 of which are apartments and 32 suites. Perpendicular to the beach line, from most of the rooms’ balconies you can enjoy a relaxing side view of the sea that invites you to read.

Location
The Vila Baleira Resort is located on Porto Santo Island, also known as Ilha Dourada, on the first line of beach, 5 minutes from the village and 10 minutes from Porto Santo International Airport and the pier and docks that serve the island.
It is the best equipped tourist complex on the island, consisting of 3 distinct and spacious areas, the main building, Porto Santo Thalasso & Spa and outdoor leisure area.

Facilities and services
Thalasso Spa
The Baleira Thalasso & Spa is the only thalassotherapy center currently existing on the island of Porto Santo. With facilities independent from the Hotel, but integrated into the Vila Baleira Complex, the center is the largest and one of the best equipped in the country in terms of balneotherapy, with a wide range of shower and massage cabins, in addition to swimming pools, sauna cabins and turkish bath, walking corridor, among others. The shower cabins will be closed in 2023, as well as the dry sauna and Turkish bath. The only sauna that will be operational will be the Hamammn sauna
The Baleira Thalasso & Spa features the largest thalassotherapy area in the country. An independent structure dedicated to your well-being where all the Thalassotherapy and Spa treatments work, as well as the gym, the Rhea Dive Center (with PADI, SSI and DDI certificates).
Restaurants
Variety and quality are the mottos of our kitchen team. The stay at Vila Baleira Resort is a gastronomic journey through traditional Portuguese food with special attention to the regional specialties of Madeira and where there is also room for international cuisine and the sophistication of our desserts. We also offer light meals and snacks so you can enjoy your days by the pool and on the beach.

Try one of the exotic cocktails of the day, prepared by our friendly “barman”, or simply enjoy a good glass of Madeira wine. Dunas Restaurant
The Beach Club Restaurant is an invitation to light meals during the summer months. Located in the garden area next to the pool, it serves a wide selection of salads, snacks and ice creams during the day, for those guests who do not wish to interrupt their day at the pool or on the beach to have a more complete meal. The terrace is also a good option for a late afternoon drink after a relaxing and restful day of sun and beach!

Away from the main building, you can come and have fun with the family in the shows that our entertainment team has prepared for you. Joy, lots of music and a different and surprising theme every night. Come and dance with us in our amphitheater next to the Beach Bar, we promise it will be worth it.
